Vegan diet with all vitamins, vegan diet for autism

If it is for the nutritional values, then you should research and find out that a vegan starch-based diet without processed foods is healthier than a diet with animal products..
There are a lot of health myths out there.
Lots of health problems are caused by eating animal products: http://www.adelicatebalance.com.au/
You wrote: “there are certain vitamins that you simply cannot get from veggies, fruits and supplements.” This statement is wrong. I have heard this misinformation before. There is much erroneous statements out there on the internet. Potatoes are a complete food: People can and have lived for extended periods on potatoes as their sole source of nourishment: http://www.drmcdougall.com/misc/2008nl/may/potato.htm
Only vitamin you can’t get from most potatoes today (unless you grow it yourself in the right way) is vitamin B12 (find out why here): http://www.drmcdougall.com/misc/2007nl/nov/b12.htm
There is no risk for anemia if eating a vegan starch-based diet.
A starch-based diet is the diet humans evolved eating: http://www.drmcdougall.com/misc/2009nl/feb/starch.htm
Autism and plant based diet: http://www.drmcdougall.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=19475 ; http://www.drmcdougall.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13482
I haven’t read through it all. There is lots of other information if you use the search bar.
I don’t recommend everything on that website, e.g. some people eat honey on that forum, and eating honey is causing harm and death to bees (e.g. there is harm to the bees when the honey is taken from the hive, see e.g.: http://www.vegetus.org/honey/honey.htm).

“My son has autism and he has a specialized diet, which includes meat, albeit at low serving levels, I'll talk to.his nutritionist.”
Remember though that there are many nutritionist that are misinformed, many nutritionist that give conflicting advice. I recommend this nutritionist: http://www.drmcdougall.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=22

“See we have 4 kids and I have to be positive before I make a drastic change that could affect their health, research is in order, thanks for the discussion Anders, take care”
It is good to research. Eating an animal products-based diet is effecting health negatively.
